Your face is often the first thing someone notices about you. As time goes by we begin to encounter the physical effects of facial aging through wrinkles, sagging, or droopy skin. However, cosmetic facial surgery can address areas of concern and lessen these signs of aging.
As a board certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over 25 years of experience, Dr. Franklyn Elliott understands that each face is unique and considers his patients’ facial features to help determine the most effective rejuvenation procedure for their needs. Depending on the patient’s desired results, Dr. Elliott may perform one or a combination of the following including forehead lift, blepharoplasty, neck lift and a facelift.
A forehead lift, also known as a brow lift, eliminates frown lines and deep creases across the forehead while lifting drooping brows. Dr. Elliott uses a special advanced bone groove technique providing a quick and effective brow lift. This technique is one in which a groove is made in the bone so that a suture can be passed through and become the holding point for the brow lift. Patients enjoy the benefits of this technique as there are no screws, staples, or other devices used and patients cannot feel any device through the scalp. A blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) targets the area around the eyes by eliminating under-eye bags (lower blepharoplasty) or sagging eyelids (upper blepharoplasty). Eyelid surgery can often be transformative for patients with tired looking eyes for a more refreshed, youthful look. For patients who are concerned with sagging neck skin, Dr. Elliott may recommend neck lift surgery to remove excess skin and fat and tighten muscle under the chin.
For those patients with multiple areas of concern, a traditional full facelift may provide the comprehensive rejuvenation you’re after. Facelift surgery is the complete facial anti-aging procedure that improves signs of aging on the face and neck.
