Dr. Franklyn Elliott to be Featured in International Symposium for Plastic Surgery

Dr. L. Franklyn Elliott will be in Munich, Germany November 18th and 19th as a featured breast reconstruction expert surgeon and lecturer for the Advances in Breast Surgery – International Symposium for Plastic Surgeons. Hosted by and featuring some of the leading breast surgery specialists from around the world, the Symposium will feature live surgeries including a Pedicled TRAM-Flap performed by Atlanta plastic surgeon L. Franklyn Elliott, M.D.

The symposium’s hosts hope to stimulate conversation among attendees regarding the different breast reconstruction surgery approaches. Dr. Franklyn Elliott will also be lecturing on the benefits of “Expander/Implant reconstruction including acellular matrix” and “Pedicled TRAM-Flap” surgical procedures.

Dr. Elliott has been performing plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1983 and specializes in breast surgery and reconstruction after breast cancer surgery. He also performs face and body procedures including liposuction, facelift, and rhinoplasty surgeries. Franklyn Elliott, M.D. has developed several surgical techniques including a short scar facelift technique that requires only local anesthesia and a scarless latissimus flap (no scar on the back) method for breast reconstruction.

You probably already read about Dr. L. During his 27 years as a plastic surgeon, he has spent time writing plastic surgery articles to educate other plastic surgeons on techniques and also to teach patients more about the plastic and reconstructive surgery options available. Due to his contributions to breast reconstruction, Dr. Elliott served as the Program Chairman and Director of the Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium for many years and is presently the organization’s Co-Director.
